Bode Miller famously lost his left ski early in the downhill portion of the 2005 World Championships combined event in Bormio, Italy, yet continued to navigate the treacherous "Stelvio" course on one ski. Despite the equipment failure, he displayed incredible balance and strength, continuing for nearly two minutes.
This is not the bib from that race, but it is definitely a good reminder of an epic run and one of a kind!
